Where is the conference?
The conference will be held at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond, WA.
Who will be the keynote speakers?
Jeff Raikes, President of the Microsoft Business Division, will deliver the opening keynote address, and Richard Wolf, General Manager of Office Graphics, will address the Conference on the second day. In addition to the keynote addresses, leaders from the Microsoft Office Visio Team and the Visio Partner Community will discuss the market opportunities for Visio and Data Visualization.
Who should attend?
The conference is intended to educate Microsoft Visio developers, system integrators, independent software vendors, and customers who create custom solutions on Visio. It will also provide important information for those who sell Microsoft Visio or Visio-based solutions.

What are the fees?
$499.
Why should I register early?
Early registration qualifies you for a $100 discount and gives you earlier pick of hotel rooms. Early registration will end on December 31, 2007.
What does my conference fee cover?
• Attendance to all sessions and keynotes
• Attendee gift and conference materials
• Welcome Reception at the Parlor on the 4th
• Breakfast, lunch, and snacks the 5th and 6th
• Cocktail Reception and Dinner at the Museum of Flight on the evening of the 5th
What are the cancellation policies?
Full refunds, less $50.00 processing fee per registrant, will be granted to cancellations received in writing or via email up to November 15, 2007. Cancellations received after November 15, 2007 and up until December 15, 2007 are subject to a $50.00 service charge and a 50% refund. Refunds will not be given if a cancellation is after December 15, 2007. Refunds will not be given to registrants that do not attend without canceling in advance (no shows). If Microsoft cancels a single session for any reason, they assume no responsibility for nonrefundable airline tickets or other travel costs. Microsoft will make every effort to immediately notify registrants of a cancellation. Microsoft reserves the right to cancel any single session that has insufficient enrollment.

What Airports can I fly into?
SeaTac is the main airport serving the Seattle Area. There are no other regional airports within two hours drive.
How far is the conference from the Airport?
Seatac Airport is about 25 miles away from the Microsoft Conference Center.
What is the weather like in Seattle in January?
The Seattle climate is very moderate. Days can be clear or cloudy. There is always a chance of rain. Snow is a rarity especially near the bay. Seattle February temperatures are usually 40-55 (F°) degrees during the day.
What kind of clothes should I pack?
Comfortable clothes with a good umbrella or raincoat are recommended. The evening dinner is planned to be elegant, but not formal.
If I stay the weekend, is there anything to do?
Yes, Seattle is has activities year around. In town there many excellent theater groups, a world class zoo, galleries and museums. If you enjoy skiing, there are ski locations less than an hour by car from downtown.
Can I get a tour of Microsoft?
Microsoft is made up of dozens of buildings in several locations near Seattle. There are no official tours. Some of the local bus tour companies drive through the main campus locations as part of some of their tours. The Zoo, Pike Place Market, or Pacific Science Center will be much more fun!
Are there specifi hotels for Microsoft Visio Conference attendees?
Microsoft has arranged special conference rates at the Marriott, Westin and Hyatt hotels in downtown Bellevue. All three hotels are within 6 miles of the Microsoft Conference Center, and transportation will be provided to and from the hotels for all conference activities.

If I drive to the MSCC will there be parking for me?
There is a full underground parking garage at the MSCC where you are able to park for free. Please register your vehicle with the registration staff upon check in.
